£200 remaining for a washing machine
Sadly, this single mum who is receiving treatment for cancer and cares for three children under the aged of fourteen, has no help from the father. She receives Universal Credit and is unable to work. With some food bank assistance, mum is keeping up to date with her rent and most of the household bills. However, her washing machine is broken, cannot be repaired, and needs replacing. We are praying our kind donors will be able help.
D is a member of our local community who is in receipt of Employment and Support Allowance. He has recently moved into shared accommodation, following a split with his partner, but unfortunately doesn't have his own bedroom furniture. D really needs a double bed and mattress for his room, plus some curtains, a bedside table and a double blanket. D would be very grateful for any donations towards these items at this difficult time, both personally and financially.
This gentleman, who was homeless for four years and living in temporary housing, is unable to work due to mental health issues, arthritis and fibromyalgia. He has been provided with a one bedroomed bungalow and has been able to purchase some items, and we are helping with food bank supplies. This gentleman is dependent on benefits and would love to have a cooker, but with a limited budget and no savings, he cannot afford to buy one. With your kind donations we want to provide him with a cooker for his home.
S is a single mum who is looking after three children and is in receipt of Universal Credit. She has just moved into a new council house, but doesn’t have any spare money for new appliances and furniture. The most important thing that mum is in desperate need of is an electric cooker so that she can cook food for herself and her three children. S has very little support and any donations from Acts 435 towards a cooker will make a huge difference to this mum and her family.
