£115 remaining for a washing machine
This lady was moved to our area by the constabulary because of domestic violence. Her former partner kept her a prisoner by keeping her bank card and her shoes to stop her going anywhere. She was moved earlier in the year and has struggled for months with severe depression. This lady has a benefit which pays her household bills, but has not been able to save anything for white goods. She has been trying to wash her clothes by hand, but cannot get them clean enough. She feels alone. Can you please help her?
This young man, who comes from a challenging background with no role models, has limited support from friends or family and relies on charity. He is in need of a coffee table and sofa, to make his home comfortable, and a vacuum cleaner. It would also be really helpful to get this young man some curtains. He would be delighted if someone was to help change his outlook on life. Thanks for supporting this young man's first chapter in living independently

She is in desperate need of a new mattress, but does not have the funds to buy a replacement. This lady also has medications that need to be stored in a fridge, but her fridge freezer is broken. She cannot afford to buy a small fridge and does not have access to some of her medications that are impacting on her health and wellbeing.
My client is a pensioner who lives alone and is unable to cook a warm meal due to not having a cooker. Struggling financially, she is unable to afford such a large purchase and has come to the charity to ask for help. All support will be greatly appreciated by my client, who is having family to visit over the Christmas period and would like to be able to cook for them whilst on their visit. She is feeling stressed at the thought of not being able to do this for them.
