£130 remaining for a winter clothing voucher and an Oyster card top-up
This young person, who is currently age disputed, is a minor who has been assessed to be an adult and is trying to challenge it. He needs money to buy winter clothing and shoes to get through this bitter cold (he only has flipflops at the moment) and also to travel to appointments to have the best shot at a successful claim. We would be topping up his oyster card and buying a voucher to be used for shoes, a coat and winter jumpers.
This woman I support is fleeing a domestic abuse situation and is in need of support whilst she awaits a decision on her asylum claim. She currently has no recourse to public funds and only receives a very small weekly allowance from a charity. This woman requires a shopping voucher to buy food, winter clothing and shoes suitable for the cold weather in the UK, which she will not otherwise be able to obtain.
A is a single dad with two girls aged nine and thirteen who have been living with him since earlier this year. He has worked hard to stabilise their lives and finances. Dad drives a bus one day a week in addition to looking after the girls, but still struggles to make ends meet. His washing machine needs to be replaced, but he cannot afford to do this himself.
MK, an entrenched rough sleeper, has been homeless for around two decades and is living in hostel accommodation. He would appreciate a voucher for some shoes and winter clothes, a top-up voucher for his phone, a haircut (as his beard has grown long since he has been homeless) and a beard trimmer to maintain his beard after the haircut.
