£200 remaining for a double mattress and bedding
C is a young care leaver who has recently been allocated her first flat which was unfurnished. She has used her small grant to get some essentials, but still needs a double mattress and bedding. This would enable her to sleep better and to continue her struggle with mental health issues caused by her challenging past. These health issues are currently preventing C from working, but she is keen to get on top of things and make a meaningful life for herself. Your support would be much appreciated.
A is a single dad with two girls aged nine and thirteen who have been living with him since earlier this year. He has worked hard to stabilise their lives and finances. Dad drives a bus one day a week in addition to looking after the girls, but still struggles to make ends meet. His washing machine needs to be replaced, but he cannot afford to do this himself.
F, who is single and lives on his own in a council flat, recently lost his job and is living on a very tight budget. He is working with us to try and reduce his expenditure so that he can manage his finances and deal with his debts. His oven has broken and being able to buy a replacement would help him to batch cook and save money on grocery shopping. Without this item, it is difficult for F to save money and eat properly. Please can you help towards the donation?
