£200 remaining for a slimline, freestanding electric cooker
This gentleman and his partner, who is suffering with dementia, have been living in a very old caravan which carers were unable to attend. They have now been allocated a bungalow in sheltered accommodation. Their only income is the state pension of his partner and limited wages for the gentleman as he has been his partner's only carer. Their new home has no cooking facility so we are looking to provide a cooker to ensure hot meals are available on a daily basis. Thank you for your support.
This gentleman was referred to us by sister organisations due to severe food insecurity and deteriorating mental health. At St Vincent de Paul, we are deeply concerned about his downward spiral and urgently seek your assistance to provide a sturdy fridge and a month’s supply of food. This support will stabilise his immediate needs as we work closely with partner agencies to address his mental health and long-term wellbeing.
This gentleman, who lives with his wife and three children, is struggling financially, relying on our centre for food support where they attend regularly to access essential services. Their home lacks basic furnishings, impacting their comfort and quality of life. We are seeking your assistance to help make their home more welcoming by providing a dining table, chairs, and a sofa. Any support toward these necessities would be greatly appreciated and would make a significant difference for the family.
This woman, who was referred to us by partner agencies, lives in a flat that was severely infested with bed bugs, forcing her to dispose of most of her furniture and remove all carpets. Mum has four young children and currently has no beds for two of them, as well as no storage for clothing. We are seeking your assistance to furnish their home with two single beds and mattresses in order to improve their living conditions and provide the family with the comfort they desperately need.
