This young man, who comes from a challenging background with no role models, has limited support from friends or family and relies on charity. He is in need of a coffee table and sofa, to make his home comfortable, and a vacuum cleaner. It would also be really helpful to get this young man some curtains. J has recently been released from prison and all he has ever done is work as a taxi driver, but his licence has lapsed. He has been told by his employer that he can have his job back instantly, however, he needs to resit his licence and sit in front of a panel with the local authority. The costs are going to be around £750 including the medical etc. We would love to be able to raise some funds towards this from you all at Acts 435 to help get this person's life back on track.

This seventeen year old, who arrived in the UK recently, made the traumatic journey on his own to escape the war and persecution he was facing in his home country. Separated from his family and friends, he arrived with barely any personal belongings. This young man is travelling to and from college in unsuitable clothing for our cold, wet winter. It is difficult to go for walks and meet with peers, as it is so uncomfortable in the cold. The support given will help him be able to buy warm winter clothes and footwear.
