G is a grieving father. Prior to his son's death, his son was in respite care and G stayed at a hotel for one night so he could visit. G was later shocked to receive a parking charge, even though the hotel has free parking. He has tried to appeal the charge, without success, and the distress this is causing is unbearable. G cannot afford the charge and has lost all hope of overturning it. He has sought help from Citizens Advice Bureau and they are looking to make a complaint against the company.
