£150 remaining for a fridge freezer
Our applicant, whose son died of suspected suicide recently, receives a state pension which makes it difficult to be able to afford items other than basic essentials. They are currently in need of a new fridge freezer as theirs is very old and in poor condition. To have a fridge freezer that is reliable and in good working order would be a relief, eliminating additional worry and anxiety.
Please can you help this young lady who has been a victim of domestic violence and is now having a fresh start in a new area. She has no family support and is suffering from debilitating mental health problems. She is on Universal Credit. She has nothing to cook on and her microwave has now broken too. We have sourced a new cooker and microwave at a good price and she would be very grateful if you could help her purchase them which would really make a difference to her quality of life. Thank you.
P, a single mum from India with two teenage children, has recently had to move into a new home and has no furniture. The entire family is currently sleeping on the floor and, as the weather turns colder, this will be increasingly uncomfortable. This lovely lady has worked very hard to further her education and find work, but the cost of moving has left her without the resources to furnish her children's room. P would be very grateful for any help received to make her children more comfortable
This family of five, with three primary school age children, is in great need of a freezer to help provide healthy meals for the growing family. Mum is struggling to cope in these difficult times, and a freezer would help greatly so she can buy affordable healthy food. Their oldest child has severe learning difficulties and dad is a student from abroad. We are giving ongoing support to the family as they settle in the area and plan to stay long-term. They much appreciate any support given. Thank you.
