£120 remaining for clothes and shoes
H is an asylum seeker from Iraq who is in the UK with his wife and three children, aged six, four and two. His family, who are Kurdish, were treated very poorly in Iraq and had to leave when their lives were in danger. The family are desperately in need of clothing (including underwear) and shoes.
K, a cleaner for a wealthy lady, has been evicted, needed to find new housing and has lost her job. She is very dynamic and a go getter, but is beset with health problems. K has chronic arthritis and is about to have an operation on her foot which will mean she won't be able to work for twelve months. She has been given housing and we are helping her furnish it, but it comes without a cooker. Please can you help K to get a cooker?
J is a single man who has been living in supported accommodation. He is on a considerable amount of medication for schizophrenia, anxiety, and arthritis in his legs. He is moving to council housing which is completely empty. J is excited about his move, but has no furniture, and as he is only in receipt of Employment Support Allowance he is unable to afford any. We are requesting support for an oven for when he moves.
