£100 remaining for transport to gym/physio sessions
Please can you help P? He had a major stroke earlier this year and exercise is part of his rehabilitation. He is still unable to work and uses taxis to get around. P has been advised to go to the gym to help with his recovery. The cost of transport for six weeks worth of sessions is £96 which he is unable to find on his limited budget. P would be so grateful for any help towards this, as he is determined to get on the road to recovery.
Our client suffers with an eating disorder and has done for most of her life. This has affected the her mobility and as such she has carers who come in and help her with meal prep. She doesn't have a working freezer, which makes it impossible to batch cook her meals. She would really benefit from an under counter type for access and mobility issues.
This gentleman, who was recently referred to us, moved into a property with his two children, but they have very limited furniture. Financial struggles are making it difficult for him to provide a comfortable home, and this challenge is taking an emotional toll. After his visit to the St Vincent de Paul centre, we are urgently seeking your help as the family is in need of a wardrobe, dining table and chairs. Any assistance toward this endeavour to create a stable and welcoming home environment would be deeply appreciated.
A, an asylum seeker who arrived in our area eight months ago, having had to leave his family in Syria (including three boys aged twelve, nine and two), receives £9 per week. He has engaged with our organisation, attending different activities such as English language, chess club and lunch cultural events each week. A needs help to buy clothes as he doesn't have any winter clothes and would be very grateful for your support.
