T, a disabled mother of a disabled child, is struggling financially since her daughter's Disability Living Allowance (DLA) migrated to Personal Independence Payment (PIP). When the Department of Works and Pensions changed the award from DLA to PIP, it was downgraded, causing a drop in income. Citizens Advice is helping T to appeal her daughter's benefit, but appeals take time.
