£200 remaining for a fridge freezer
L, a lovely local lady who regularly comes along to church groups, takes part in the community and supports the committee, overseeing new homes in the area to make sure everyone gets the home they need. She has time for anyone who needs her. L is living off her pension with her husband who is disabled. She needs a new fridge freezer as hers is badly damaged and she has had to throw food away which has further impacted her tight budget. L budgets her money well, she just needs a bit of help.
F, who is single and lives on his own in a council flat, recently lost his job and is living on a very tight budget. He receives Universal Credit, however, this leaves him with only £20 to live on after bills have been paid. F heavily relies on a foodbank to get his groceries, due to how little he has left. His bed has broken and he cannot afford to replace it. Your support with £175 will help him to buy a replacement. Please can you kindly help with this donation?
S was admitted to hospital after a fall resulting in spinal and rib fractures. She underwent fusion of the lumbar spine and was then discharged back to the place she recently moved into, which has no furniture. She has been sleeping on a broken air mattress, and uses a toaster and kettle for meal preparation. S receives Universal credit and is unable to buy white goods. She cannot shop or lift anything and relies on her son, brother and friends for support. She would appreciate your help to buy a washing machine.
A, a care-leaver who has been living in supported housing, is moving into his own flat soon and requires resettlement support, such as access to amenities, making sure his housing benefits go through correctly and that he gets access to grants he may be entitled to. A is being supported as much as possible and is on Universal Credit, but is unable to buy items for his new place. Having had a chat with him, he said he would be so grateful for a table and chairs so he can study for college.
