L, a single parent who has been vulnerable for many years, is contending with difficult mental health and in poor living accommodation. We have been advocating for her since 2021. Mum's house is nearing completion after a very protracted and challenging period where so many issues have had to be addressed in the property. L's washing machine has just broken and is is her birthday today. We would value your help to get a new washing machine which is critical for any home.
K, a cleaner for a wealthy lady, has been evicted, needed to find new housing and has lost her job. She is very dynamic and a go getter, but is beset with health problems. K has chronic arthritis and is about to have an operation on her foot which will mean she won't be able to work for twelve months. She has been given housing and we are helping her furnish it, but it comes without a cooker. Please can you help K to get a cooker?
C, a mum of two children aged twelve and thirteen, suffers from depression, anxiety and panic attacks, and is a recovering alcoholic. Recently made redundant, and nearly evicted, she is separated from her husband who currently has the children living with him whilst his wife has been dealing with health concerns. Che receives Universal Credit and Personal Independence Payment. She is moving to be closer to her children and needs furniture, including a table and chairs to make a home for her family. We are requesting £200 to help with this new start.
T recently managed to bring his two kids to the UK after a long separation period. However, T had to provide adequate accommodation, which he managed to rent and pay the deposit for, and this has left him struggling financially. T requests your help so he can buy bunk beds and mattresses for his two kids.
