£0 remaining for a food shopping voucher
G is about to be discharged from hospital and has nowhere to go. His relationship has broken down and he has been evicted from his home. We are hoping the Council will be able to house him in temporary accommodation as soon as possible. Citizens Advice are doing what they can to help as he has a number of debts and has just been hit with a huge tax bill, so has no money to buy food. Could you please consider supporting this gentleman with a voucher towards food, drink and toiletries? Thank you.
M is a single lady who has significant health and mobility issues. She has no family or friends, as she is isolated in her flat with no support apart from statutory services. M's washing machine has irreparably broken and she desperately needs a new one as she cannot access a launderette and has no means of washing her clothes apart from hand washing them. M, who is dependent on benefits, has no savings to purchase a washing machine and this situation is significantly increasing her anxiety.
C is a single young mum with a one year old son and no family support. She is dependent on basic benefits with no savings, is struggling financially and is at risk of eviction. Mum desperately wants to start work to increase her income, so is currently upskilling herself as she didn't finish school due to the pregnancy. C has poor eyesight so struggles with using her phone to do the online training that she has signed up to. A tablet would really help her to complete the necessary training.
This family are new to area, having been moved to be nearer family due to having twins. Dad works full-time night shifts. The family has got into financial difficulties due to needing two of everything. Currently they don't have any means of drying clothes due to costs. Support to acquire a tumble dryer would be an amazing addition to their lives. This would ease the difficulties of not having money to buy clothes, and not being able to go out into the garden to hang washing because of safeguarding the twins who are two years old.
