£0 remaining for an air fryer and a microwave
This single, 57 year old Christians Against Poverty client lives alone in his home, mortgage free. M is currently unable to work due to his severe anxiety and depression. Universal Credit is his only income, and so he is unable to afford the replacement of two appliances that have broken. In order to save money he doesn't use his oven, so these are key appliances for him.
Mum and her children, aged eleven and thirteen, have experienced a lot of trauma. They were homeless for five months, but now live in an old house and need carpets to make it warm and comfortable. Mum has been unable to work for six months because of mental health issues, depression and fibromyalgia. With the loss of earnings, she now has mounting debts so we are providing Money Advice and Food Bank support. We can provide carpets, but need help with the fitting costs. Praying our kind donors will be able to help.
