£180 remaining for an oven and a sofa
A has recently moved into his first flat following release from prison. He has got nearly all of the furniture needed, but does not have an oven or a sofa. He is saving for this, but we would like to help him with these items for him and his family to help get life back on track.
Please can you help this young lady who has been a victim of domestic violence and is now having a fresh start in a new area. She has no family support and is suffering from debilitating mental health problems. She is on Universal Credit. She has nothing to cook on and her microwave has now broken too. We have sourced a new cooker and microwave at a good price and she would be very grateful if you could help her purchase them which would really make a difference to her quality of life. Thank you.
W has been living in one of our supported properties for approximately one year; he engages well with our service and is regularly in employment, but has fallen on hard times as his employer needed to downsize and he lost his job. W is now claiming Universal Credit, so is finding it difficult to pay for everything that he needs. He recently lost his smartphone which he needs to access his Universal Credit journal and his recruitment apps.
B is a young adult with severe learning needs who is going through a tough time. In supported living she gets twenty hours one-to-one support from a local care team, providing activities and maintaining independence. Recently, her finances have been stopped over a concern of financial abuse which has left B with no income. She is being supported by her care to resolve this. Could you help B in continuing her supported activities by purchasing a voucher for personal hygiene products and some new nightwear and underwear?
