£80 remaining for a vacuum cleaner
R has recently moved into his own flat after being made homeless. He has spent time in supported accommodation and has overcome lots of hurdles to get to where he is now. He has two children who are now able to visit him in his own place. R would love to get a vacuum cleaner as someone has donated carpets for him and he wants to keep the flat clean for his children. Thank you.
R and her toddler are in the process of moving into new accommodation- the family home is no longer available to them as her Dad needs constant care for his dementia. She needs a washing machine as no white goods are provided in the new flat. She is unable to work due to mental health issues and anxiety. Her only income is Universal Credit and this does not allow her to save for items such as this. She would really appreciate any help you could give towards her getting a washing machine. Thanks.
K's wife passed away in very traumatic circumstances and it has left him with PTSD. Due to the circumstances of her death, K is having to be rehoused into a new property. K isn't working, has no savings and his only income is Universal Credit. The house move has taken all his available money and the new home has no floor coverings down. We have an amazing offer of free carpets but need a little help with the cost of fitting.
Our client is living in unaffordable housing with three young children. She needs help clearing rent arrears so that she can be rehoused into much safer and more affordable accommodation, which will improve her financial and emotional difficulties and allow her to stay debt free.
