£200 remaining for a fridge freezer
We are supporting a mum and her three young children move into a new tenancy for a fresh start after a violent burglary took place in their old home. They lost a lot of items and are short on money to replace everything. Mum has asked whether she could have help with buying a fridge freezer as she can't take the old one with her and the new tenancy does not include white goods.
This family have just moved into new accommodation. C is a lone parent who is living with her two young children and receiving Universal Credit and Child Benefit. She had to flee her family home, due to domestic abuse, and moved temporarily into a single room in a hotel, but has now secured permanent accommodation. At this stressful time, C would greatly benefit from some donations towards bedroom furniture, namely three chests of drawers and two pairs of curtains, to help make a home for her children.
H has recently moved into temporary accommodation with her family. The studio apartment has basic furniture, but not some essential household items and mum is finding it difficult to keep it clean and tidy. She would be grateful for donations towards a vacuum cleaner, a small camping table and chairs for eating and so the children can do their homework at the table, rather than on their beds. H is also in need of a kettle and would like to buy an air fryer if her budget allows, but as she is on Universal Credit, is struggling to afford these items.
SL is a single parent with three children who are living on the seventh floor of a tower block. Mum has a washing machine, but has been without a dryer for some time and has no drying facility in her own flat or in the block. With the amount of washing generated by her children, it would help her greatly if a condenser dryer could be supplied.
