L, a single lady who has been referred by her local authority for our assistance, is in receipt of Universal Credit and has health and debt issues. She does her utmost to keep her home tidy, but her existing hoover is no longer functioning properly. L has been homeless since February, having had to leave his home town after been attacked. He has just signed a tenancy, but only has a chair to his name. L has just started receiving benefits so it will take some time to build finances up and he has a lot of basic household items to buy. L has been travelling two miles to the centre to wash his clothes, but most of the time the washers are full and he can't do his washing. He really needs a washing machine to be able to manage, going forward. Please can we help?

Can you please help my client X to get a freezer? He lives with his partner and two young children, and they have recently been victims of a burglary where the perpetrator destroyed items in their property, including their freezer. My client and his family are all on benefits and are struggling to pay bills and buy food shopping, so cannot afford to buy a replacement. X is struggling to budget without a freezer, and this appliance will make it easier to shop on such a low income.
