£0 remaining for carpets
D, who is extremely vulnerable, has lived in his one bedroom house for the past four years but, due to his poor mental health and living on benefits, he has been unable to save up to fit any flooring. D would like to receive some support to be able to put carpets into his home, which will improve his mental health and general wellbeing.
Our client has physical health conditions and has been experiencing mental health issues for several years, following the death of their mother and a break up from a partner who financially abused our client. The cold from the uncarpeted flooring affects their arthritis and joint pain. Our client has successfully applied for a local grant for some upstairs carpeting, but this doesn't include labour. Please can you help to pay for the carpet fitting?
