£200 remaining for gas, electric and a food shop
B, who is fifty one years old and is in a domestic violent relationship, has hit rock bottom and cannot see a way out. Her partner has control of her bank card and comes and goes from the home. We are supporting B in finding the strength to get professional help or to leave, and have put her in touch with a women's aid charity. She has no food in the house for herself and no money on her meters for gas and electric. We would like to to-up B's meters to keep her warm and buy a food voucher.
C, a single mum who is fleeing violence, has a two year old child who was abandoned by the family as the child is Muslim and C is White British. On a low income, she has been housed, but in desperate need of a bed and bedding for the little girl, who is sleeping with mum. The child is small and needs a cot-bed which can be extended as the child grows. Bedding is also needed as she wets the bed.
This lady, who is on benefits, is a victim of domestic violence who has had to flee her home and is now trying to set up a new home with her young children. The bedrooms have no flooring and don't feel very cosy. We are able to source the carpets for free, but need help with the cost of fitting. If you are able to help, especially as it gets colder, this would be much appreciated.
This lady, who is a victim of domestic abuse, has had to flee her home with her children and is trying to make a new start and a home for her children. Her bedroom and the stairs have no flooring and mum does not have the means to buy any as she is on benefits. The house would feel much warmer and more like a home with carpets. We have been able to source the carpets for free, but need help with the cost of fitting. Any help you can give would be much appreciated.
