£200 remaining for gas, electricity and water arrears
KG, the survivor of a violent domestic violence situation, has complex health conditions including mental health issues. She is the mother of five children and has accumulated debts for gas, electricity and water. We have arranged with the utilities company for her to pay a deposit and then to pay the balance in small instalments. KG is in a desperate situation and cannot sleep. Please can you help to change her situation and bring relief to her and her family? Thank you.
I am supporting a wonderful young woman who has experienced severe and high risk domestic abuse. She has been placed in emergency temporary accommodation and does not have the facilities there to live comfortably. She is also in need of some winter clothing. This young woman would like an air fryer so she can cook some simple food in her room, which also does not have a kettle, so she would like to purchase one. A winter coat and some trainers are also needed, as well as other warm clothing.
I am supporting a wonderful woman who has experienced domestic abuse of all kinds and has found herself on her own in the UK trying to navigate living alone. She is working really hard on gaining skills to help her to be independent. This woman needs some specialised clothing for her work experience placement and a good winter coat. She would also appreciate a chest of drawers for her room, as she has limited storage in there, and an air fryer, as she only has a small hob.
D and her disabled child left their home, due to domestic violence, without most of their belongings. Mum is now rehoused, but is unable to work, as she cares for her child who is less than a year old. D, who attended our foodbank for help with food, is understandably struggling practically, emotionally and financially. £200 to enable her to get a wardrobe, chest of drawers and small table will help her to get organised, feel more settled and face her new future after a very traumatic year.
