£80 remaining for a garden clearance
The client suffers with severe long-term health conditions that impact her mobility. These have been formally diagnosed as health problems relating to the abdominal and uterus. As a result, the client is unfit for work and is struggling financially. Their garden is overgrown to a hazardous degree so they are requesting a contribution towards getting this cleared because they are physically unable to.
S is an asylum seeker who fled from Kurdistan in Iraq with her mother because of religious and family conflicts. Her family also wanted her to marry a cousin, a man much older than her. They live in a hotel where the food provided is inadequate, S has no recourse to funds for buying food and clothes, and her mother has been ill. Please would you help to bring change to their lives? Thank you.
S has recently moved to South London after receiving her refugee status, following a prolonged asylum claim. She is from Somalia and has been living in the UK since 2023. S would love to learn how to swim and this is one of her goals. We are aiming to raise £60 for swimming lessons for S. Any donations are much appreciated.
P had to leave her accommodation, due to personal safety issues, and lost all her belongings in the process. She is unable to work, due to mental and physical health problems, including sciatica and arthritis. These are being aggravated by her only having a blow-up bed to sleep on at present, and she has nowhere comfortable to sit. P awaits the outcome of her Personal Independence Payment application. A sofa bed would dramatically improve her quality of life and help her have the strength to deal with her situation.
