£160 remaining for a fridge freezer
P has been struggling to find work as a machinery worker since being made redundant several months ago. His fridge freezer recently broke down and he can't afford to get a new one, so he can't keep food fresh and, therefore, isn't eating well. P would be incredibly grateful if you could help him buy a replacement.
This Ethiopian asylum seeker, who is supported by a local charity after mental health therapy referral, wants to integrate, volunteer in the local community and access education as an IT student. In Home Office accommodation with no access to public funds, he needs to use the bus to go to college, his GP, our day centre and volunteering, all of which will foster social inclusion. We would like to offer six weekly bus passes and couple of months of mobile data to pursue his studies, pending donation of a laptop which the charity is trying to secure.
Our client, aged fifty nine, is long term homeless and is supported in the asylum process by local charities/community in South London. She is extremely vulnerable and is accessing physical and mental health services. Our client has been in hostel accommodation in North London for several months. She needs to travel to Southwark to access health and asylum support plus legal advice and we would like to provide six weekly bus passes. Our client has nothing and needs basic toiletries, clothing etc. This funding will offer some stability and maintain links to her support network.
EM is currently homeless and does not have any income at all. He would very much appreciate £50 for an Oyster card top-up so that he can travel to a charity in Borough where he attends once a week. EM would also appreciate £50 for winter clothing and £100 for a shopping voucher for food and toiletries.
