N is on a low income and has no way of replacing her washing machine which she needs, due to having a lot of hospital treatment and waiting for an operation. She needs to keep washing her bedding, but her washing machine has blown up and been condemned. Due to rising costs, N is unable to afford a replacement and is really struggling washing by hand, as she cannot wring the sheets out properly.
