£200 remaining for an electric cooker
Our client has just moved into permanent accommodation after being in a safe house, having fled domestic abuse with her two young children. Her flat does not have a working cooker or hob so she urgently needs an electric cooker. Our client is currently working with Christians Against Poverty to help her get out of debt, so doesn’t have the income to buy one herself. She has been looking on Facebook Marketplace, but hasn’t managed to find anything. Please can you help?

She has been homeless and has recently been rehoused in a house of multiple occupancy, engaging with support services to deal with her trauma. C was recently robbed by so-called "friends" who took her iPhone, which she used for face-timing her son. C, who is unable to work and dependent on benefits, with no savings, is distressed that she can't make contact with her autistic son who lives with her auntie.
