£0 remaining for three mattresses
P suffers with mental health problems and is unfit for work. After spending time in supported accommodation, the family has now moved into its own property. Mum is having to sleep on the settee and the children are mostly staying with nearby relatives as they have no mattresses for their beds. P receives Universal Credit, but is struggling to meet her everyday living costs and there is no way she can afford to buy these herself. She would be very grateful for your help.
This family of a mum and five children fled domestic violence and have recently been re-housed. They were not able to take any large household items or furniture with them, so they are starting over. Mum is managing on benefits and is uncomplaining, as they now feel safe, which is such a great thing for them. However, a fridge freezer would help them a lot, especially for when the weather warms up.
W would like help and support with a new single bed and mattress. Unfortunately, an accident happened at home and a fire destroyed his bed and some furniture. W is getting support to cover most of the urgent furniture required, but this does not cover a bed. He only receives Universal Credit which all goes on bills and food. W would be extremely grateful if your generosity would allow him to get a new bed.
P, who suffers from a physical disability which leaves her housebound, currently sleeps on her sofa as she doesn't have a bed. This is extremely uncomfortable for the client, as she already suffers with chronic pain and spinal issues, but she has no other choice. P's mental health has declined as she is not able to relax and have a comfortable night’s sleep. She is waiting for her Personal Independence Payment claim to be reviewed. Once P's bills are paid, she has very little income and no family to help. Please can you help her to replace her bed and mattress?
