L lives with her daughter and her family, due to her daughter being her carer, has ovarian cancer. She had a 16.5lb tumour removed last year and received chemotherapy, and also has a hole in the back of her eye. L receives pension credits and Personal Independence Payment. The family live in a council property which only has a small bath and as L is unable to get up in order to get out of the bath, we are requesting funding for grab rails and shower plumbing parts to enable her to wash safely and with dignity.
J, a single mum with four children aged fifteen, thirteen, eight and one, is receiving Universal Credit and Child Benefit. Her fifteen year old daughter is autistic with severe mental health concerns. She has not been attending school, awaiting an Education Health & Care Plan.
