C, a former addict who has been homeless for most of his life, moved into his first home just over twelve months ago. He is working extremely hard to maintain his sobriety and keep his flat. Sadly, he bought a second-hand sofa which was infested with bedbugs. C has bought several products to try to eradicate this problem and it is beginning to affect his mental health. His housing provider and local council have been contacted, but have said it is the tenant's responsibility to pay for pest control.
