£200 remaining for gas and electric bills
X, a jobless, single mum who is going through a hard time, has three children, the eldest of whom is sixteen has just had a baby. This sixteen year old had been suspended from college and lost her Universal Credit. Although she is now back in college, the payment has been delayed. Consequently, X cannot afford to pay her gas and electricity bills and needs to walk three miles to get food from a food bank. Please can you help this mum to pay her bills at such a stressful time?
C is a single lady who has had a traumatic life experience, using substances as a coping mechanism. She has been homeless and has recently been rehoused in a house of multiple occupancy, engaging with support services to deal with her trauma. C was recently robbed by so-called "friends" who took her iPhone, which she used for face-timing her son. C, who is unable to work and dependent on benefits, with no savings, is distressed that she can't make contact with her autistic son who lives with her auntie.
L is experiencing feelings of hopelessness, due to struggling with the cost of living. She has amassed some debts, following her husband's fast decline with dementia and eventual death. L has sought help from her local Citizens Advice Bureau, who are assisting to hopefully find the best solution.
