£0 remaining for food and energy costs

K has been signed off work now for a prolonged period of time and is struggling on basic benefits. Now her fourteen year old granddaughter has moved in with her and the income is no way near enough to support them both. K has applied for Child Benefit, but there is a substantial delay, and Universal Credit will not pay the child element until Child Benefit is in receipt. Please would you consider helping them both with some funds towards food and energy whilst they wait? Thank you.
