Our Christians Against Poverty client is struggling with epilepsy and seizures, which has left him unable to work. This has put extreme pressure on his budget and ability to make ends meet/pay for household utility bills. Our client's mental health has been severely affected, due to his low income and he struggle to make ends meet. Dad and his daughter have had no heat in their home for the last twelve months and he is greatly concerned for the winter months ahead.
A was assaulted and had his mobile stolen; he is still recovering from his injuries. He has been made redundant and is waiting for his Universal Credit to start (so has no income). He has done really well after overcoming a drug problem 18 months ago, but because of this situation he needs help to get him through this until he can start receiving Universal Credit or find a job.
