£200 remaining for a living room carpet
E is a care worker who has continued to work, despite a prolonged period of homelessness. She has recently moved into a flat and has no flooring at all, only the very basics, i.e. a bed, cooker and a chair. E is on a low wage as she works for an agency and spends a lot on work-related travel. She would be most grateful for some funding to help her carpet her living room.
D is a single person living in rented accommodation, currently claiming Universal Credit as his sole income. He was was recently evicted from his property illegally and lost his job due to stress. All his possession in the property were removed without his permission; he is speaking to a solicitor about this but it is going to be slow. He has moved into another property but he has nothing, and he only has 2 sets of clothes and no way to wash them. A washing machine would really help him as he seeks to get a job again.
D is 36 and is co parenting his two little girls with his ex partner. They are doing a great job and the girls are thriving. The youngest girl really needs to be moved from a cot to a bed and they desperately need new duvets and pillows. D works but is on minimum wage and a zero hours contract, so his wage varies each week and once the bills have been paid there is little left for essential items. Mum tries hard to support Dad but is in the same situation. Please could you help them?
N is 55 and a full time carer to her son who has complex needs; she is unable to work as she has to be with him at all times. Money is very tight in the house due to N having to constantly replace bedding and clothing for her son. Her fridge freezer has broken and N has spoken to me this morning and told me she is also broken and doesn't know where to turn. N has no family to turn to for support and she would be so thankful for any help as she cannot afford to shop daily for fresh food.
