£0 remaining for vinyl floor fitting
R is an older lady with a deep Christian faith. She is a loving mother and often has her grandsons to stay at her house whilst her daughter is working. R suffers severely from arthritis and other conditions, affecting her mobility. She lives in constant pain and spends a lot of time at home. R, who only receives a state pension, has not got the funds to pay for extras. We are asking for contributions for the fitting of vinyl flooring in four rooms which will really enhance the space.
F is a single mum who was fled a war torn country and been granted refugee status in the UK. She has been living in temporary accommodation and hotels, but has now been granted a home for her and her daughter. F's daughter has chronic asthma and the house has no floor coverings down, which is causing her to have asthma attacks. We have an offer of free carpets that will make all the difference to F and the health of her child, but need your help with the fitting costs. Thanks in advance for reading this.
E, who has been seriously ill, has moved to be closer to her daughter to receive support. Unfortunately, the removal firm failed to take all of her items, leaving a lot of them behind. The council has disposed of everything, resulting in E losing her wardrobe, all of her crockery, cutlery, cooking utensils and bedding. E was looking forward to her new life. Being able to replace the lost items would be beneficial to her physical and mental health, and enable her to fully settle in to her new home.
S is a recently bereaved gentleman who is struggling with the transition of managing everything himself. He is working with a Foodbank debt worker to help him cope on his own and to deal with debts related to the death of his wife. S, who suffers with epilepsy and lung disease, is struggling to prepare meals as his epilepsy means it is dangerous for him to use the gas oven, which he has on fire. S would love to buy an air fryer to enable him to cook safely, but just cannot afford it.
