£0 remaining for a sofa and a wardrobe
MY and TE, a married couple with a newborn baby, are refugees and have been through the homeless system for years. They have recently moved into their own flat and had their baby, but are struggling to afford furniture. They only have basic furniture, but nothing to store their clothes in and no sofa to sit on. MY and TE feel that these will help make their flat a home and make it comfortable for raising their baby. Whilst TE is looking for a job, they do not have any money to afford these items.
This family are living in an asylum seeking house after fleeing their home country due to the war. The family have a very small budget to split between six (soon to be seven) family members. This family are struggling with storage for clothing/other household items and mum is due to give birth to a baby soon. Having this chest of drawers would help with keeping the house clean, tidy and a safe environment as well as keep clothing/items organised for the new baby. Please could you help? Thank you.
A is an asylum seeker who studies really hard to improve his English. Due to health reasons, he can’t access classes in person, and it would help him enormously to have his own laptop so that he can study online, do homework and access other helpful information online. Thank you so much for helping A mentally and improving his life quality by making it possible to purchase a second-hand laptop for him.
A is an asylum seeker who attends our English classes and is keen to improve his English. It is difficult for him to do homework, access additional classes and information online with only an old phone. It would help A immensely if he could have his own laptop to move forward in life and use the time of waiting until he will get an interview. Thank you so much for helping him!
