£110 remaining for a carpet
T is a single mum who has grown up in care since a young age. She is a mother to a smiley little boy and is moving out of her mother and baby unit into a council property where she can raise her son. T is unable to work, due to having her newborn son, and is in receipt of benefits. She will be starting college in September with her dream of getting qualifications so that she can give her son the best life. T is moving into a property which does not have flooring in the two bedrooms and hallway. T hopes that with the support of the Acts435 community and some money she has saved recently she can add carpet to the new flat for safety for her son.
D was born with a hole in her heart and given just hours to live by the doctors. She is now just days away from her first birthday and it is a miracle from God that she has survived for this long. D needs oxygen to help her, and her parents want to purchase a pushchair that will carry oxygen so that she they can still be out and about with her, rather than stuck at home or in hospital. These funds will help to purchase the second-hand pushchair that they need.
S has recently moved into a housing association flat after being homeless. He is delighted to have the security of a home, however, it is unfurnished. A friend lent him a washing machine and a fridge, but now he needs them back. His only income is from benefits, so he can just get by, but he doesn’t have any spare money to buy white goods. Your help to buy a fridge will mean a great deal to him as he tries to become settled.
G has been in our supported accommodation for five years this month, but has finally been awarded a flat through a housing association. He has a disability and is signed off long-term sick and is on benefits. G doesn't have much money put aside to buy all he needs for his new flat, so would appreciate donations for a bed and wardrobe for the property. He has found a charity shop where he is hoping to buy them from if he receives the donation.
