£0 remaining for a men's retreat
J, who became a Christian one year ago, gave up his job to retrain as a Teaching Assistant because he wanted to work in a more caring role. His income is limited, as he's training as an apprentice. Our diocese are running a men's weekend and we have secured a place for him at a vastly reduced price, but it's still too much for him to be able to attend. J's faith is on fire at the moment and we would love for him to be able to go. We are a church in one of the most deprived areas of the country and just don't have the funds to pay for him.
J is a single dad on very low income and struggling financially. His eleven year old daughter has moderate learning difficulties and is mad about football. The school she is about to start at have special football sessions, but this comes at a cost and dad just cannot find the funds to pay for this. His daughter would benefit physically and emotionally from being in a team, and improve her confidence. Please can you help?
C is a single lady who lost her only child a while ago. She has been struggling with ill health and been unable to work. Due to this, C has fallen short on her gas and electric bill as she needs to keep warm at the moment. She is getting better now, but has been advised to go back to work on a part-time basis. C is now worried that she will not be able to sort the arrears from her utility bill. She needs support for the debt, as well as bus tickets to get her to work for this month until she gets her next payment.
MO is rough sleeping as he has had a tricky immigration situation that means he has not been able to access benefits or housing for years. He has finally been approved for pre-settled status and can now apply for a driving licence and look for work. Unfortunately, MO’s benefits will still take a while to resolve. Because of this, he would like to apply for some funding to help him get his driving licence, as this will be a step in the right direction for him to resolve his homelessness.
