£0 remaining for an emergency electric top-up
This lady has been on a journey for a number of months, seeking to sort her debt out with the help of the local Christians Against Poverty centre. She has now finally become debt free, which is a massive burden lifted, but has been pushed to apply for Universal Credit at the same time. This lady is not quite ready to deal with the subsequent weeks without any income, so this top-up will help her navigate this time which, I’m sure, will lead to a period of financial stability as she seeks to rebuild her life.
This lady recently gave birth to triplets at 34 weeks gestation. The family have reapplied for UK Citizenship, and are awaiting a decision. Her husband works, and the family are not in receipt of benefits. The family have been desperate for equipment, as all they had when the babies were born was one cot. Staff at the hospital have asked that all three babies should be slept in individual, new Moses baskets for the safest sleeping option.
