£0 remaining for a passport and gym membership
This man, who is a resident with us in supported accommodation, is working with the Family Drug and Alcohol Court, with the hope of becoming sole carer for his children. As this does not allow him to commit to work at present, he finds that exercise helps with his mental health. This man would appreciate some help with gym membership costs of £100 over the next four months. He is also in need of some photo ID, so would appreciate help with the cost of applying for a passport online, which would be £88.50. Thank you.
S is a single mum of two children who has come into the UK on a shortage of worker's visa, but has not had any work recently as the agency that brought her doesn't have work for her. She is on no recourse to public funds and struggling to make ends meet. S has got a house for her and the children, but is struggling to furnish it. She is in need of a sofa, a bed and three chairs for all of them to sit on while eating. S will be grateful for any support provided.
A, who is a single mother to a four year old little princess, has been living in temporary accommodation for the last couple of years now. She has just been given keys to her new house which will be a permanent address for now. A has not been working whilst in the temporary accommodation and is having a financial crisis. We would love to help purchase a sofa, washing machine and some kitchen utensils, such as cups, plates, pans and cutlery.
P is a single lady who has been homeless for a while and has been sofa surfing in a friend's house. She has just got her independence flat from Oldham council, which has no furniture. P has received some help from Oldham council, but is still in need of a washing machine and a storage cabinet. She has not been working for a while, so is struggling financially, but now is working with the Job Centre to find employment.
