£0 remaining for a new shower unit with plumbing
P is a long term member of our church who has learning difficulties, is not able to work and is living on minimum benefits. His shower has broken and is not able to be repaired. He has had several quotes for a replacement shower, of which the cheapest is £120 with a further £100 for the plumbing installation fitment. P's shower is his only means of washing, so please could you help him? Many thanks.
A is refugee who has successfully been accepted for a reunion with his wife and two daughters, and is expecting them to arrive in the UK in September. A has rented a house for his family, however, he is struggling to buy all the furniture and would like your kind support so he can buy second-hand beds and mattresses for his new home.
L is a young man who has been homeless in a neighbouring town, but has recently been moved into our supported accommodation. He could do with a bike to get to different appointments and help him to more easily find employment, as he is currently on Universal Credit. L doesn't have a helmet or bike lock, but has already been offered a bike by someone who is keeping it by for him until he has the money to pay.
This gentleman has recently moved into Brighton from out of area and had to leave everything behind in order to move. He is in a hostel at the moment and only receives basic Universal Credit with sanctions. This gentleman is working with support and would really appreciate a voucher to enable him to get some basic clothes and shoes.
