This young mum came to our social supermarket for the first time this year when the cost of living crisis hit her family budget hard. Her rent has gone up by 40%, leaving her with little funds each month, and her energy bills are in arrears. Mum is trying to pay everything, but ends up juggling. She has two girls, under five years of age, and the stress is causing her anxiety and ill health. Mum broke down in tears in the shop as she has no spare money for her daughter's birthday!
