C, who has been known to our sex worker outreach team for fifteen years, was groomed into prostitution by her mother at eleven years of age. Raped by a punter who got her pregnant, C recently gave evidence against him following his imprisonment; she was very brave. C has been clean from drugs for six months, lives in a city hostel and is trying to stay off the streets. She would love a television to help take her mind off the trauma, but cannot afford this, due to being on Universal Credit.
