Give to someone in need
Acts 435 is about giving to people directly, to help them bridge the gap when they are facing a financial crisis.
Can you help a specific person in need?
Read stories of the applicants below and give as you feel able. Any amount will make a big difference to someone who is struggling.
You can instead make a general donation and the Acts 435 team will allocate it to the most urgent requests.

V is a hard working, single mum of 4. Some of her kids have additional needs but that doesn’t stop her. She is ambitious and will be training to be a paramedic. She already volunteers at church and is active in the community. V is currently on benefits as she’s recovering from surgery and caring for her baby so she doesn’t have spare money. A laptop will help her with her course and the children can use it for homework too. V is amazing, she just needs a bit of help to achieve her goals.
Still £180 left to donate
Total needed £200We are supporting a young man who was recently granted refugee status but has not yet found a job or started receiving benefits. He cannot afford the fee to pay for his Home Office Travel Document which costs £82. He would really appreciate the support.
Still £85 left to donate
Total needed £85N loves to try and keep active and wants to learn to swim. She has been in the UK for 16 years and has been destitute, therefore unable to afford a gym membership. She has now moved to a hosting placement in South London and is now close to a leisure centre. With your support she could sign up to the leisure centre for 3 months which would allow her to keep herself active whilst she waits for her asylum claim to be resolved. Doing exercise really helps with her mental health.
Still £150 left to donate
Total needed £150N lost his truck driver licence eighteen months ago and now needs to renew it so that he can get back to work. However, he has no money, due to rent rises, growing debts to the landlord and utilities. This money would enable N to get his licence back, start driving lorries again and earn money again.
Still £90 left to donate
Total needed £90A has been living undocumented in the UK for over ten years while trying to claim asylum after surviving trafficking. She has finally been granted refugee status in the UK and has been given temporary housing by the council. Her belongings are at the house where she has been sofa surfing, and she needs help with moving her belongings into her temporary housing. This funding would cover the cost of a car to take A and her belongings to her new home.
