Give to someone in need
Acts 435 is about giving to people directly, to help them bridge the gap when they are facing a financial crisis.
Can you help a specific person in need?
Read stories of the applicants below and give as you feel able. Any amount will make a big difference to someone who is struggling.
You can instead make a general donation and the Acts 435 team will allocate it to the most urgent requests.
P has been rough sleeping for the last ten years, but has recently moved into supported accommodation. He is on very low Universal Credit, due to never having claimed any benefits before. He would love to see his parents this Christmas, as he has not seen them this year, but saving for the trip to Northamptonshire, by train, is a challenge, as he is struggling financially. P is a very polite gentleman and he believes that now he is being supported, he can really see a future for himself.

Total needed £120N and her three children were homeless for over seven months and living in a hotel. Mum could not afford to store her furniture so when she was rehoused she had to buy second-hand furniture. Mum is sleeping on a broken bed and this is not helping her sleep. She suffers with her mental health and her youngest child is autistic. N feels she would cope better if she had somewhere she could retreat to at the end of the day, where she would feel comfortable and relaxed. Thank you for any help.
Still £165 left to donate
Total needed £165We would love you to join us in supporting a lady who has turned her life around by going sober and working her way out of debt. She is learning to drive so her and her son can be more independent. Thanks to backpay from her benefits, this lady has been able to pay for most of her lessons, but does not quite have enough for the test fees and two more lessons. She would be so grateful for your support to get her through this final stage of learning to drive.
Still £185 left to donate
Total needed £185This young man, who has recently entered temporary housing after sleeping rough and sofa surfing for over two years, only possesses one set of clothing which is unsuitable for the current colder weather. He desperately needs underwear, socks, t-shirt, jumper, trousers, winter coat and footwear so he can get out and about. Being on benefits means this young man can't readily afford these, so help funding these will be gratefully received.
