J has recently passed 100 days sober and, having previously been homeless, has now moved into supported housing. J suffers from mental health issues as a result of his years in addiction. He needs some help to buy things for his bare room to help him through the long winter evenings, such as a Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD) lamp and a TV.

Total needed £200D, a single lady with no family or support outside of AGE UK, has been living in unsuitable temporary accommodation, but has now been given social housing as she is very poorly and has a limited life expectancy. D is on a low income and has no savings, due to moving costs, but she desperately needs a cooker so that she can cook healthy meals for herself, and remain as healthy as possible for as long as she can.

Total needed £200S, who lives with his brother in a privately rented flat, has become his brother's carer, due to his brother having poorly controlled diabetes and asthma. Both are struggling financially as they are only on Universal Credit currently. They only have a fridge to store their food, but need a freezer to make shopping and meal preparation more economical. S and his brother have no savings and are having welcome support with debt and money management. They would appreciate help to buy a freezer.

Total needed £150This twelve year old girl, who is struggling with her mental health and has severe anxiety, is working with mental health services, but is finding life really tough. It's been suggested a weighted blanket could help her, but her mum does not have the finances to buy one. Researchers believe weighted blankets are effective in alleviating physical and emotional symptoms and beneficial for treating anxiety. It would be really appreciated if you could help with purchasing a weighted blanket for this girl.

Total needed £60G, who has fallen on hard times, following a heart attack, has now been diagnosed with heart failure and is unable to work. He is struggling on a low benefit income of Universal Credit and is subject to deductions, due to an advance. G is awaiting the outcome of his health assessment, but this will take weeks. He doesn't have an operational cooker and has no means to be able to buy a new one. Would you please consider helping this gentleman to purchase a cooker? Thank you.

Total needed £200J, a six year old girl, has severe allergies and now has to carry an EpiPen. One of her allergies is to dust mites and this means she does not sleep well. Her parents have made lots of changes to her bedroom to minimise her exposure to dust, but her single mattress is very old and a new mattress is beyond their reach. It will, however, make a big difference to J, enabling her to sleep better. Thank you for your help.

He has struggled later in life with which direction to take and, although he managed a couple of jobs, he has very much declined in his mental health and is not working. C, who suffers with anxiety and mild depression, is working alongside his support worker at Talkworks. This is a year's membership so he can go every other day, and the opening times will work.

Total needed £200J, a single lady who lives alone, is on long-term sick leave due to a mental health crisis and long-term health conditions. She uses the foodbank once a month, and is waiting to hear back from Universal Credit, as her Statutory Sick Pay has stopped. Her oven has broken down and, although .J receives Personal Independence Payments, the money that comes in is not enough to cover all the essentials, let alone when something goes wrong.

She has just started to re-emerge and, with support, is now rebuilding her social interactions and her confidence is slowly growing. This lady has physical challenges, with frequent unexplained falls and suspected neurological issues. To top it all, her washing machine is leaking and she lives on the first floor of her block! This lady earnestly needs a new machine.
