Give to someone in need
Acts 435 is about giving to people directly, to help them bridge the gap when they are facing a financial crisis.
Can you help a specific person in need?
Read stories of the applicants below and give as you feel able. Any amount will make a big difference to someone who is struggling.
You can instead make a general donation and the Acts 435 team will allocate it to the most urgent requests.
A is a single mum whose husband died a few years ago and she is raising her young daughter alone. English is not her first language and she is doing her best to work a few hours a week around her daughter's school hours, but has to claim benefits to help her get by too. A's washing machine recently broke and she has no money to pay for a replacement. Our church already supports her as best they can, but our furniture project doesn't cover white goods. Please can you help?

Total needed £200L, a single parent who has been vulnerable for many years, is contending with difficult mental health and in poor living accommodation. We have been advocating for her since 2021. Mum's house is nearing completion after a very protracted and challenging period where so many issues have had to be addressed in the property. L's washing machine has just broken and is is her birthday today. We would value your help to get a new washing machine which is critical for any home.

Che receives Universal Credit and Personal Independence Payment. She is moving to be closer to her children and needs furniture, including a table and chairs to make a home for her family. We are requesting £200 to help with this new start.

Total needed £200CP has lived in emergency homeless accommodation for three years. He has connected well with our church, attending services and helping in the kitchen to prepare meals for the very outreaches that brought him to our door, as well as other church hospitality. His confidence has grown and his faith is growing. We have been able to help secure a home in supported housing for CP and will need help to buy a bed, bedding and bedroom furniture for his new room. Please can you help make that happen for him?
