Give to someone in need
Acts 435 is about giving to people directly, to help them bridge the gap when they are facing a financial crisis.
Can you help a specific person in need?
Read stories of the applicants below and give as you feel able. Any amount will make a big difference to someone who is struggling.
You can instead make a general donation and the Acts 435 team will allocate it to the most urgent requests.
N has had a tough year and recently was in a nasty car accident and the fallout has meant that she has no money until December. She urgently needs to pay a £100 utility bill- if she doesn't, the arrangement she was on where they match her payments will fail and she will be in major financial problems. She also desperately needs new glasses and even with her benefits she isn't going to be able to afford them and she is stressed at not being able to see. These cost £80. Please can we help?

Total needed £115S is a single mum who is struggling with rising cost of food, fuel and bills. She does not feel she has enough to pay for anything for the children for Christmas. S would not normally ask, but is very anxious this Christmas. She is working with Christians Against Poverty for debt help and is on a very tight budget. S has two teenagers to buy presents for and your gift would help to encourage this family over Christmas. Thank you very much for noticing this request.
Still £90 left to donate
Total needed £100This single mum, who has a new baby, lives with and is the carer for her mum who is disabled. Their house has a small back yard and she tries to dry washing outside when possible, but since the baby arrived, mum has had to use the radiators which is pushing up their gas bill beyond what they can afford. An electric clothes airer would be more economical and would mean they could go back to using the radiators for only a short time each day.
