Give to someone in need
Acts 435 is about giving to people directly, to help them bridge the gap when they are facing a financial crisis.
Can you help a specific person in need?
Read stories of the applicants below and give as you feel able. Any amount will make a big difference to someone who is struggling.
You can instead make a general donation and the Acts 435 team will allocate it to the most urgent requests.

This man has been hospitalised recently, due to a mental health breakdown, and he is now ready to be discharged back into the community. Unfortunately, while he has been in hospital, he has lost his home and all his belongings, so is asking for help with some clothes, a kettle, plates and cups, until he gets permanent accommodation. Due to this man being in hospital for a period of time, his Universal Credit claim has been impacted and, therefore, he finds himself in financial difficulties.
Still £55 left to donate
Total needed £65MB, a vulnerable, single male who is currently sleeping rough, is battling with his immigration status. He has recently been in and out of hospital, due to ongoing health issues which cause pain in his arm and the loss of feeling in his legs. Because MB is sleeping rough, he really needs a warm winter coat and some essential food items. In addition, he must keep in regular contact with his Immigration Advisor, for which he will need £20 for a Tesco mobile SIM.

Total needed £125R, a care leaver who came to the UK as a child seeking asylum, is an avid runner which helps to maintain their mental health. However, they don't have a suitable pair of trainers at the moment so are running marathons with inappropriate footwear which is causing them physical pain. They cannot afford to buy new trainers, yet they also cannot afford to stop running. Please would you donate so that R can keep running?
