Give to someone in need
Acts 435 is about giving to people directly, to help them bridge the gap when they are facing a financial crisis.
Can you help a specific person in need?
Read stories of the applicants below and give as you feel able. Any amount will make a big difference to someone who is struggling.
You can instead make a general donation and the Acts 435 team will allocate it to the most urgent requests.
N lost her job before Christmas and got behind in her household bills due to unemployment, which impacted her mental health. Her daughter has also been struggling in school which has added additional stress and pressure, leading to a breakdown. She has reached out to her local Christians Against Poverty Debt Centre, but is still struggling to manage her bills and day to day costs. She desperately needs some help towards her daughter's school uniform and would be very grateful for any support.
Still £110 left to donate
Total needed £120M came to the UK last September with her five children age (17, 15,13,11 and 3 years old) to do a Masters degree. Unfortunately her residence was affected by a fire last month and they lost all their belongings. She is in the process of completing her degree. As an international student she has no recourse to public funds. She needs your help to replace the children's school uniforms and supplies. Please help her. Thank you.
Still £200 left to donate
Total needed £200N is a single mother with 5 children. They have been moved out of the borough where they used to live due to the eldest child being abused by a neighbour. They are awaiting another move for their safety. This makes life very stressful for them and increases costs. N has bought them new school uniform but is now left without money to eat and cover essentials until her next benefit payment arrives. She would appreciate your support in covering the cost of some of the school uniform. Many thanks.
