Give to someone in need
Acts 435 is about giving to people directly, to help them bridge the gap when they are facing a financial crisis.
Can you help a specific person in need?
Read stories of the applicants below and give as you feel able. Any amount will make a big difference to someone who is struggling.
You can instead make a general donation and the Acts 435 team will allocate it to the most urgent requests.
My client is a single man who was previously homeless and subject to a violent attack. His subsequent physical and mental health problems mean he is not able to work and he is living on a low income. My client is relying on electric heaters to heat his home, dry his clothes and reduce the damp in his flat. However, he is struggling to afford to keep his electricity meter topped up. Providing a dehumidifier would help reduce the damp and dry his clothes at a lower cost.
Still £120 left to donate
Total needed £120This student, who attends our food pantry, shared that she does not have an oven or hob to cook with. She is currently living in a small place with a kitchen that is too small for a normal size oven. Due to being an Open University student, the benefits she receives are very low. We have helped top-up the gas and electricity. We have enquired about family help and have discovered that there is no immediate extended family to help. Please can you help this student to get a mini oven?
